Een korte beschrijving van mij(n booekverslaving) in het Engels:
I'm an 42 old woman. I work at the Municipal Government of the city of Utrecht. I have about 1500 books (romance novels) and al lot more e-books.
I've been reading romance novels since I was a young girl, first the books of my eldest sister, but soon after that I started buying them myself. About ten years ago my bookaddiction got a bigger hold on me and I started buying English books. First I had one meter's worth, after that two and now I have a specially made bookcase in my living room with about 50 meters worth of bookshelves.
Nowadays I don't read as much as I used to. About 4-5 books a month. I love to reread old favorites, one of the reasons I won't part with my books, after I have read them. Another reason is that I love the sight of my bookcase, filled with all those lovely books!
Aurian and I met on an on-line bookforum and after we found out we lived in the same town, met in person and now we are BFF! She is even more of an addict than I am. We can't wait until june and meet all those authors, bloggers and other booklovers in Berlin!
